Job summary
Nuttall Bowser are based in the Generator Building within the Finzels Reach area of central Bristol – situated in a harbourside setting with just a 5min walk to Cabot Circus and a 10min walk to the train station. The Generator Building is grade II listed structure restored to celebrate its heritage features and history, providing a perfect fit for our business profile and culture.
We are looking for an Undergraduate Engineer to join our business at an exciting phase of growth and matriculation where our people are entrusted not only support our project needs but are actively encouraged to help build our business capability and culture.

Responsibilities
Undertake examinations and surveys pertaining to assessments, repairs and design of bridges and structures
Assist and undertake authoring of bridge assessments, bridge repair design and bridge designs
Assist with the programme and deliverables of your projects
Minimum Requirements
Specific interest to pursue career in bridge engineering
Ability to demonstrate sound understanding of structural engineering
Willing and able to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate concepts with clarity and confidence
Willingness to travel throughout the UK to undertake site visits
Preferred Requirements
University modules within structural analysis, design, and bridge engineering preferable
Working knowledge of CAD and structural analysis software packages preferable
UK driving license
